RM12-01 NTPT Tourbillon Extraordinary Movement Skeleton Streamlined Watch Richard Mille revisits the legendary RM012 movement, blending innovations in materials with watch architecture. The RM12-01 Tourbillon features the RM12-01 Tourbillon watch and is available in a number of different limited editions exclusively in boutiques in the Americas. The case construction of the new RM12-01 Tourbillon watch follows the tripartite principle, which holds it all together. The lines of the movement are inspired by the structural forms of architectural design, and the tubular, tilted structure provides optimal rigidity and torsional stiffness, as well as excellent resistance to heat and corrosion. The functions of the baseplate are uniquely combined with those of the movement and bridges to form a technically coherent and visually inseparable whole. The movement is proudly displayed with a perfect combination of grinding, satin-finishing, circular finishing and high polishing. Its one-piece bottom plate is inspired by the chassis of racing cars and improves rigidity and shock resistance. The sharp streamlined curves of the skeletonized bridges that surround the barrel, large wheel and tourbillon radiate to the end of the manual winding movement. The RM12-01 limited edition case measures approximately 51x42x15mm and is available in black carbon TPT, red quartz TPT, and white quartz TPT.
